Does anyone know what I can do to keep from being so queasy? And, PLEASE don't say crackers. So far, they only make me feel worse. And, don't suggest Powerade, Gatorade, etc. Those REALLY make me want to throw up because they remind me of being sick as a child. When I would get the stomach bug, mom ALWAYS made me drink these things. Now, whenever I drink them, I think about having the stomach bug.

FIVE WEIRD AND/OR RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME

1. I take at least 2 showers every day.

2. I never wear socks with my shoes (unless they are tennis shoes), but as soon as I get home I take off my shoes and put on socks for the evening while I am at home. I don't like my bare feet to touch the floor because I might feel dirt on the floor.

3. I chew about 4-5 pieces of gum every day.

4. I go to bed at 9:00 almost every night. If I do not I will fall asleep on the couch.

5. I know every word to the song "Hotel California."

The Tigers take the field against Florida.

BATON ROUGE -- LSU is ranked No. 6 in the first Bowl Championship Series Standings, which were released on Monday.

The Tigers, who are ranked No. 7 in both the Harris Interactive and USA Today Coaches polls, have a 0.7078 BCS average.

Southern Cal is first in the BCS Standings with a 0.9923 average, followed by Texas (0.9591), Virginia Tech (0.9067), Georgia (0.8933) and Alabama (0.8220).

Other Southeastern Conference teams in the BCS Standings include Auburn at No. 18 with a 0.3210 average, Tennessee No. 19 with a 0.2905 average and Florida No. 20 with a 0.2799 average.

The BCS average is calculated by averaging the percent totals of the Harris Interactive and USA Today Polls, and the computer rankings.

The 4-1 Tigers host 5-1 Auburn at 6:45 p.m. on Saturday in Tiger Stadium.

Returning Home!

Can't wait to be there! I am going to spend the weekend with Mom. This has been the SLOWEST week because I am SO excited to go home!!! Can't wait to be there. Yay!

I am having so much fun teaching fourth grade this year. My kids are so sweet and smart. Who knew teaching could be so easy!?!

Anyway, I attended some of my students' kickball games on Saturday. It made them so happy to see me there. Nothin like competitive kickball on a Saturday morning.

My kids are also constantly amused by the way I dress. Sometimes that are very open about what they think about my clothes, and sometimes they just giggle about it. Here is a part of an email I received from a parent about the boots I wore yesterday:

"PS ~ Christian absolutely adored your boots yesterday. He talked about how "precious" they were the minute he hopped into the car. Gabriel is now praying that he will have you for 4th grade. I guess the boots won him over as well . . . . . . hee! hee!"

Never a dull moment when you're surrounded by kids!

Today I am experiencing the second day of the first cold front of the year here in Austin, and I am loving it. I am freezing when out, but I love it. This is my favorite time of the year- holidays, cold weather, fresh deer meat in the freezer, football games on cool nights, family, Christmas shopping. Oh, it all makes me feel so happy!

Tonight Heath and I will enjoy a perfect night for football when my school plays at home. Then, I will spend tomorrow morning at some of my students' kickball and soccer games. And finally, I will work on decorating my house for Fall. Oh what fun!!!
